Recreation places have the same sort of allergen mix as do home and school so the same avoidance strategies apply. Closed windows are a good defense against airborne pollens. With the renewed cold and flu season it is very important that you wash your hands frequently to avoid colds and flu. Plan to get your flu shot.

As always, see your doctor before traveling to be certain that you have an adequate supply of you medications, remember that fall is flu season and hand washing becomes very important. Remember to consider your asthma and allergies when booking air travel and accommodations and check on what triggers might be prevalent at your destination such as cold dry air, hot humid air, and environmental tobacco smoke.
